Collection: New Work/ Spiritual Soaring

I have always had a strong connection with Nature Spirits. However, recently, I have noticed a deeper connection developing with the winged animals

 

A strange thing started to happen-- when I would pick a flower to paint for the day, all of a sudden I would see the flower as though it were in flight, so I would paint it that way. 

But then I began to see more varieties of birds in my garden, I was getting commissions for bird watercolors, I began a friendship with a dragonfly😅, bees and butterflies were all around me, feathers would land on me... I could go on...

And so this series of Spiritual Soaring was born.

These watercolors are a collection of the flora and fauna in flight that have revealed themselves to me. There are little bits of each story in some of the descriptions- I hope you enjoy.
